Our approach
Ask anyone who has renovated in Nairobi what went wrong and you rarely hear about craftsmanship. You hear about a price that moved, a date that slipped and a contractor who stopped answering the phone.
Our process is built to remove exactly those three failures. The scope is written down. The price is itemised. The programme has dates. And one named person owns your project from the first visit to the follow-up after handover.
The eight stages
Timelines scale with the project, but no stage is ever skipped.
We meet at your space or our Hurlingham studio, listen to how you want to use it, and agree the brief, priorities and a realistic budget band.
Free within Nairobi
Every wall, service point, opening and level is measured and photographed so the design is grounded in the real building, not an assumption.
Day 1 – 3
Layout options, material palettes and reference imagery so you can see and feel the direction before a single shilling is committed.
Week 1 – 2
Photo-realistic renders of the agreed concept from the angles that matter, revised until you can picture yourself in the room.
Week 2 – 3
A line-by-line quotation covering materials, joinery, labour, finishes and timelines. No hidden extras appear later.
Fixed scope
Cabinetry and joinery are built in our workshop under supervision, so quality is controlled before anything reaches your site.
Workshop stage
A dedicated supervisor coordinates trades, protects finished areas and keeps you updated with weekly progress reports.
On site
A joint snag walk, care instructions for every finish, and a workmanship guarantee with a follow-up visit after settling in.
12-month guarantee
“Tell the client the truth early, even when it costs you the easy sale. Everything good in this business follows from that.
What you receive
Concrete documents and outputs, not just meetings.
How we price
Every quotation separates these costs so you can see and adjust each one independently.
Survey, space planning, specification and 3D visualisation. Credited against the build contract if you proceed with us.
Boards, worktops, tiles, paint, hardware and fittings — quoted at three levels where a genuine choice exists, so you decide the standard.
Workshop time to build the joinery. This is where in-house production removes a layer of contractor mark-up.
Installation, trades and supervision, priced by activity rather than hidden inside a lump sum.
Transport, access equipment, protection, waste removal and cleaning — small items that other quotes often omit and then add later.
A stated allowance for genuine unknowns behind walls and under floors. Unused contingency is returned, not absorbed.
Typical durations
Measured from approved design, assuming decisions are made promptly.
2 – 4 weeks
A bedroom, home office, laundry or garage upgrade including joinery and finishes.

Whole-home interior including kitchen, bathrooms, joinery, finishes, lighting and styling.
10 – 20 weeks
A floor plate including partitioning, ceilings, services coordination, joinery and furniture.
16 weeks +
